Our customer, Tasmanian Scale Company is a weighing machine manufacturer based in Tasmania, primarily supplying weighing equipment to the dairy industry. They came to Reid Print Technologies in search of a waterproof QWERTY Keyboard that would withstand the rigours of the chemicals used in the dairy on a daily basis. By working closely with Reid Print Technologies design and development team, a customised turnkey product incorporating traditional membrane switch technology and Reid Print Technologie's USB Keyboard Encoder was produced. The plug and play controller is designed to seamlessly link to a device via a USB cable, whilst the embossed overlay layer on the membrane switch gives consistent tactile feedback for the dairy operators.
